چکیده

Abstract Background Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) OGFRP1 is up-regulated in endometrial cancer and cervical carcinoma, suppression inhibits the malignant behavior of cells. Here, we evaluated expression pattern, biological function potential mechanism non-small cell lung (NSCLC). Methods The target genes 25 pairs clinically collected NSCLC normal tissue samples was detected by qRT-PCR or western blot. We screened siRNA (siOGFRP1) to down-regulate A549 H1299 cells were examined CCK8, wound healing transwell assays. molecular further explored. Results tissues higher than that tissue. siOGFRP1 inhibited proliferation, migration invasion In addition, EMT-related apoptosis-related proteins changed transfection. can directly interact with miR-4640-5p, increased level miR-4640-5p. Moreover, miR-4640-5p could bind 3’ UTR region eIF5A mRNA. highly expressed tissues, predicted a poor prognosis. negatively correlated, while positively correlated. Knockdown eIF5A, transfection inhibitor eIF5A. Conclusions Taken together, demonstrated down-regulation progression through miR-4640-5p/eIF5A axis.

LncRNA-RMRP Acts as an Oncogene in Lung Cancer

Accumulating studies have demonstrated that long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) act a crucial role in the development of tumors. However, the role of lncRNAs in lung cancer remains largely unknown. In this study, we demonstrated that theexpression of RMRP was upregulated in lung adenocarcinoma tissues compared to the matched adjacent normal tissues. Moreover, of 35 lung adenocarcinoma samples, RMRP e...

LncRNA MALAT1 acts as an oncogene in multiple myeloma through sponging miR-509-5p to modulate FOXP1 expression

Previous studies showed that Metastasis associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1(MALAT1) acted as an oncogene in Multiple Myeloma (MM). However, the underlying mechanism of MALAT1 in MM remains unclear. Quantitative real time-PCR(qRT-PCR) was used to determine MALAT1 expression in MM samples and cell lines. in vitro function assays were used to determine the function of MALAT1 on MM cells. B...

MicroRNA-410 acts as oncogene in NSCLC through downregulating SLC34A2 via activating Wnt/β-catenin pathway

SLC34A2 had been reported to be down-regulated in human NSCLC cells and patient tissues, and played a significant role in lung cancer. However, the mechanism of its unusual expressionin NSCLC has not been fully elucidated. In present study, we identified SLC34A2 was a direct target of miR-410 and could be inhibited by miR-410 transcriptionally and post-transcriptionally. MiR-410 promoted the gr...

LncRNA Miat Promotes Proliferation of Cervical Cancer Cells and Acts as an Anti-apoptotic Factor

There are a sub-population of cells in tumor tissues known as cancer stem cells (CSCs) which have similar features with stem cells, including self-renewal and differentiation capacity. Recently, it was established that not only stem cells factors such as Oct4, but also ES-associated lncRNAs are contributing to various regulatory aspects of CSCs. Myocardial infarction associated transcript (MIAT...

Hsa-miR-301a-3p Acts as an Oncogene in Laryngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma via Target Regulation of Smad4

Laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) is the second most common malignant head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. Exploring the molecular indicators of malignant behavior will enhance our knowledge of this type cancer and provide novel options for its prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. MicroRNA might exert regulatory roles as oncogenes or anti-oncogenes. We studied the expression of miR-30...
